Honda’s most recent generation of prelude, the 5th generation Honda Prelude, is a masterpiece on wheels.  The prelude was first introduced in 1979, which was Honda’s first attempt to design a trustworthy and exciting sports automobile.  After 2 great decades, the two-door sport coupe still enjoys wide renown and attention among the Honda lineup.  Built on powerful handling, drivability, and frequently fitted out with the most powerful engines, it’s hard not to take a second look at this auto. 

Fuel injection, four wheel drive and Active Torque Transfer System are a selection of the thrilling new technologies in the Honda prelude.  It’s also the 1st Honda model to have the VTEC variable valve technology. 

The fifth and final generation was introduced from 1997 and sold from 1997 to 2002.  It was the biggest, heaviest and the most dynamic compared to any of its prior models.  The 5th generation Honda prelude has 2 available trim levels : type SH and base.  The preface has a 2.2L 4 cylinder engine with VTEC Technology and 5-speed manual transmission, you can decide to go for 4 speed automated option if you like. 

Other features include 16-inch amalgamate wheels, cruise control, ABS, a moon roof, power windows, mirrors and locks.  The type SH model has the Active Torque Transfer system to instantly distribute torque to outside drive and minimise under steer.  The Type SH is regarded as one of the best handling autos in its class.  Fast, balanced, and comfy, it is actually the driver’s vehicle.  The interiors are easy and unassuming, comfortable, although they aren’t available in leather trim and have limited flexibility.
